The American Football League of China (AFLC) is the first tackle football league in China. We are made up from a group of expats and locals who share a passion and love for the game of football. The AFLC consists of 7 teams across 8 major cities in Greater China: Shanghai Warriors, Beijing Cyclones, Tianjin Pirates, Chengdu Mustangs, Shanghai Titans, Chongqing Dockers, Guangzhou Goats, and Hong Kong Warhawks.
Brought about by the growth in the number of football teams independently established, the AFLC has established a league to unite and promote the game of football across China. The league provides a platform for these teams and local communities to experience the one of a kind culture that american football brings to it's players, coaches, managers, and fans. The inaugural season kicked off in October 2013 with a North and South Division. After an amazing first season, the AFLC is now ready to stage the first Championship game to be played on January 12th, 2014 in Shanghai between the Chongqing Dockers and the Shanghai Warriors.
Up until now this league has had zero outside funding and all effort and costs have been taken on by the individual teams. We are now looking for outside donations to help make this historical championship game possible and provide a professional and memorable ending to an amazing first season. 100% of all money raised will go towards this Championship game and the lasting impact it will have on American Football in China.
Here is one example from my team's great 1st AFLC season:

What We Need & What You Get
The AFLC Championship game costs needing funding are as follows:
Visiting Team Travel Costs (including travel, bus, and 1 night hotel): USD 280.00/person x 30 players = USD 8,400
Luwan Stadium 4-hour rental (including scoreboard and PA System): USD 320/hour x 4hour = USD 1,280
TOTAL: USD 9,680
For your contribution you will be provided with an awesome and truly one of a kind t-shirt commemorating this game and inaugural season, with both english and chinese characters acknowledging the date, place, and teams in the league. Your name will be listed on the back of the t-shirt as a thank you for your commitment to the global growth of one of the best sports in the world.
Top donors will also receive replica jersey's of the two championship teams, Shanghai Warriors and Chongqing Dockers, personalized with your name of choice on each.
Other costs such as referees, team buses, photographer, programs and flyer promotions will be funded internally by the players of each team.
We feel that American Football in China is more than just another sports option for locals, but a chance for Chinese sports fans to experience the game-day culture that those in American know and love. Our teams and players have thus far been self-funded, ordering equipment from the US and finding expertise within the local communities. The teamwork and passion it takes to play this game in China is truly unique. Watching this take place in China and being apart of the movement has been an unforgettable experience for all of our league organizers.
The sole focus of this fundraiser is to provide every person involved in this league from day one a truly unforgettable final game they all deserve. Our goal is to provide a championship platform we can build off of as we look for future support and sponsorship opportunities for next season and going forward.
