What am I doing here?
Hey there, Folks! My name is Alas de Liona. I'm a musician, singer, and songwriter from Ridgecrest, California. I've been writing and performing for a few years now and I haven't found anything quite as exhilarating as making music. I love to sing, but songwriting is really my passion and I plan to pour my heart and soul into my first full length album, Lightning and Fire. I've currently written 12 songs specifically for Lightning and Fire, and I'm so very excited to record them, which is why I'm coming to you: I need your help. My goal is to self-produce with the generous assistance of a few friends and supportive individuals. This means the album will be considerably less expensive than it might normally be, but it will still be a huge financial undertaking. I'm asking for $6,000 which really isn't a lot for the production and distribution of a full length album. Anything you can give will help, but packages are available as a token of appreciation for your support. Music really is my favorite thing and there's nothing I'd love more than to bring Lightning and Fire to fruition.
The long and short of the deal:
- $2000 for hiring session musicians
- $2500 for CD replication and the purchase of other merchandise (Posters, T-Shirts, Etc.)
- $1000 for graphic design and advertising
- $200 for album distribution and copyright fees
- $300 as a cushion for unexpected costs
Why Lightning and Fire?
