Hello and Welcome to the "Actively Not" fundraising camapaign! We are a small independent group of filmmakers adapting a short story by Sarah Saweikis in hopes to hit the national film festival circuit.
Take a second to look through our page, and help us fund Sarah's incredible story about finding healthy addictions in life.
A young cocaine addict must give up drugs and recklessness to maintain the relationship with her responsible boyfriend. Although she can, she feels dissociated from her true self, “actively not” living her life, as she works with her therapist and boyfriend to maintain sobriety. Though she tries to move on, her past life of drinking, cocaine fueled motorcycle rides, and sexual promiscuity refuse to let her go. Based on Sarah's short story.
