THANK YOU!  We have made our goal and then Indiegogo hit us with more good luck.  We have been inducted into their new InDemand program, so we can keep raising funds and make this movie better and better.

What this new program means is that we can fund... forever?  Well, at least till we turn it off.  You can keep backing us and keep getting our perks.  We even rolled out some brand new ones!  If you've backed us before, we thank you, but here is your chance to up your prize takeaway.  If you missed out on the chance to donate during our first round, now is your chance!

Transparent Frog Films has only three permanent members; Kyle, Greg, and Justine. Although we may not all live in New England now, we consider this place our home. We got started just last year with the award-winning short film Devil May Care and we’re coming back this year with an ambitious new project, a fantasy film-noir comedy called A Bad Luck Guy in a Bad Luck Town.

Set in a dark and strange city where a world of magic lies just beneath the surface, we meet The Guy, a low level hit-man for the magical underworld. He wakes up to a string of bad luck that he can’t seem to shake, and it is getting worse by the minute! The Guy hesitates to find out why this is happening to him because in this town the only thing worse than asking questions are getting the answers.

We filmed for four days this past september in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  Right now we are in the middle of post-production and we are completely honored to be able to continue to raise money.  Often times we hear in post, "we spent all our money on production," and, well, we did and then some...

We needed more than $8,000. Even making a short film can be expensive. Our original (reachable) Indiegogo goal was $8,000 for this project, but our ideal budget to cover all costs for production and post-production is $15,000. Every single dollar helps.  Please help us raise another $8,000 to make this the best movie it can be.

We paid everyone during production a fair days wage and we wish to extend this to post-production.  Here is a new colorful pie chart to show you exactly where our forever funding money is going:

Of course, as a thank you for your donations you’ll get some really fantastic items including a DVD with exclusive bonus features such as Director's Commentary, Actors' Commentary, Behind the Scenes features and of course a blooper reel because who doesn't love a good blooper reel? You can also get a very exclusive Digital Comic from Joe Botsch, the writer of the short story for which A Bad Luck Guy is based!

New InDemand prize, this PRINT-

This Voodoo doll and choice of cross-stitch (handmade by our producers)-

Times are tough for everyone. If they weren’t, crowdfunding wouldn’t need to exist. You can still help the project by sharing the page on Facebook and Twitter or any other form of social media. We don’t recommend going door to door, but we won’t stop you. Police might, but we sure as hell won’t! If you want to get in touch with us, have more questions about the project or would like to help out in anyway, do not hesitate to reach out to us at: tfrogfilms@gmail.com. We love talking about movies, filmmaking, gypsy curses, and just about anything else under the sun so don’t be afraid to ask!
We want to thank you in advance for all your donations. This is what we love to do and we want to do it for the rest of our lives, and you are helping us to take a big step into making that happen. We can’t wait for you to see what we have in store for you on this project. We have something special here and with your help, we can make this fantasy a reality.
