<p><span>My career in natural products branding began in 1997, when I joined Wild Oats Markets, Inc. Connecting my passion for brand design and sustainability, I formed part of the team that, in the following 10 years, would position Wild Oats as one of the most successful natural supermarket chains in the world.</span><br /><br /><span>In my positions as Art Director and subsequently, Creative Director, I was instrumental in transitioning the early 1990&rsquo;s "granola" image of Wild Oats into the gourmet brand identity that is synonymous with today&rsquo;s natural and organic &ldquo;foodie&rdquo; culture.&nbsp;</span><span>During this time I led the award-winning redesign of the Wild Oats &amp; Henry&rsquo;s brand packaging.</span></p> <p><span>Additionally, a</span><span>s Director of Environmental Design and Director of Innovation, I focused on delivering customer-focused store designs unique to each brand, leading in-house and outsourced creative teams to produce financially successful, award-winning new store prototypes for Wild Oats Marketplace and Henry&rsquo;s Farmers Market in the USA, and Capers Marketplace in Canada.</span><br /><br /><span>After building solid roots in the natural products industry, I focused primarily on developing sales strategies and sales teams for several companies, including Sol Goods, WordSecure.com and Era Panama Realty in the Republic of Panama.</span><br /><br /><span>In the latter business development role, my responsibilities included laying down the foundation for a successful real estate enterprise,&nbsp;recruiting and training a bilingual sales team and support staff, spearheading advertising and marketing, as well as managing day-to-day operations.</span><br /><br /><span>Currently, I have returned to Sol Brandesign as Branding Director, helping to guide the sustainable growth of natural products&nbsp;companies through innovation, design,&nbsp;branding strategy and marketing. In this role, my focus is&nbsp;</span>to broaden brand acceptance and heighten the emotional connection customers have to these socially-responsible brands.</p> <p>I am excited to be part of the work ORGbyvio is doing to bring about awareness of the importance of creating sustainable revenue alternatives for native Amazon communities so they may continue to protect this fragile part of the Earth for future generations.</p>
