Biography Consumer Physics was founded in 2011 by Dror Sharon and Damian Goldring. Consumer Physics – The Beginning Founders Dror and Damian met 15 years ago while pursuing degrees in Electrical Engineering at The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. In 2011 the two began collaborating on the now breakthrough initiative to create SCiO, a consumer-friendly spectrometer that would help people better understand the world around them.
