Shani is a social justice activist, an artist, and filmmaker living in Northern California. America's Most Unwanted is her second short documentary, her first, Wrong Bathroom is still popular on YouTube and was in Planetout's top ten shorts list in 2006. Shani's work is supported by many foundations including the Queer Cultural Center, Open Meadows, Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and Horizons. Shani is working on her newest documentary, Aging With Abraham and writing narrative scripts.
