Neto Villalobos

<p style="margin-left: 60px;">Neto was born in San Jose, Costa Rica. He earned a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Sociology from the University of Costa Rica and a degree in Film Direction from the Centre d&rsquo;Estudis Cinem&agrave;tografics de Catalunya (CECC) in Barcelona, Spain.</p> <p style="margin-left: 60px;">His short films &ldquo;Jason&rdquo;, &ldquo;100 al Este&rdquo;, and &ldquo;El Pap&aacute; de Ernesto&rdquo;, among others, have won national awards and been screened at international festivals in cities and countries such as Cannes, Biarritz, Boston, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Barcelona,&nbsp;Vancouver&nbsp;and Chile.</p> <p class="Predeterminado" style="margin-left: 60px;">He has participated in workshops such as &ldquo;&iquest;C&oacute;mo se cuenta un cuento?&rdquo; given by Gabriel Garc&iacute;a M&aacute;rquez; the XI Film Project Analysis Col&oacute;n Workshop, Typa Foundation, Argentina; XL Rotterdam Lab in Holland; Script Workshop given by Mart&iacute;n Rejtman and Federico Le&oacute;n, and the Talent Campus of Berlin and Buenos Aires.</p> <p class="Predeterminado" style="margin-left: 60px;">In addition, he currently directs short films and music videos, and teaches Cinematography Language at the V&egrave;ritas University, Costa Rica.&nbsp;</p> <p class="Predeterminado" style="margin-left: 30px;">&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p style="margin-left: 60px;">Neto nace en San Jos&eacute;, Costa Rica. Se grad&uacute;a en Sociolog&iacute;a en la Universidad de Costa Rica y &nbsp;posteriormente en Direcci&oacute;n Cinematogr&aacute;fica en el Centre de Estudios Cinematogr&aacute;ficos de Catalunya. Barcelona, Espa&ntilde;a.</p> <p style="margin-left: 60px;">Sus cortometrajes "Jason", "100 al Este" y "El pap&aacute; de Ernesto" entre otros, han ganado varios premios y han sido proyectados en festivales de ciudades y pa&iacute;ses como: Cannes, Biarritz, Boston, Madrid, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Barcelona,&nbsp;Vancouver&nbsp;y Chile.</p> <p style="margin-left: 60px;">Tambi&eacute;n ha participado en varios talleres, entre ellos: &ldquo;C&oacute;mo se cuenta un cuento&rdquo; con Gabriel Garc&iacute;a M&aacute;rquez, el XI An&aacute;lisis de Proyectos en el Taller de Gui&oacute;n de Typa; Col&oacute;n, Argentina. XL Rotterdam Lab, Holanda; Taller de gui&oacute;n impartido por&nbsp;Mart&iacute;n Rejtman y Federico Le&oacute;n y el Talent Campus del&nbsp;Berlinale y Buenos Aires entre otros.</p> <p style="margin-left: 60px;">Actualmente dirige cortometrajes y videoclips, as&iacute; como imparte clases de Lenguaje Cinematogr&aacute;fico en la Universidad V&egrave;ritas en Costa Rica.</p> <p style="margin-left: 30px;">&nbsp;</p>
