I joke that I am a writer by calling and a producer by necessity, but I actually enjoy producing. It makes me feel part of every aspect of a project, and it brings me together with some wonderful people. My long-term goal is to produce my own stories. Meanwhile, I help and am helped by others. We indie producers need to work together to find new, creative ways to reach audiences. Believing in your projects, but not expecting them to fly on their own, that's the key.
