Vega Darling

Director of the film, GRRRL: 25 Years of Riot Grrrl.

Vega’s film work has been screened at Frameline FF, SF Transgender FF, SF Women’s FF, Outfest LA LGBT FF and Reel It Out Queer FF, etc. Vega keynoted Ladyfest LA 2013, co-directed An Excerpt From the Forthcoming Documentary, GRRRL (2013), a short film commissioned for the first major art exhibition on riot grrrl, Alien She. Vega co-founded Atlanta Riot Grrrl in 1995. managed the first southern riot grrrl band, and wrote several zines in the 90’s and early 2000′s. This is his second feature film.
