<p>Mario O'Brien is one of the founders of RISE UP. He is also the lead expert analyst and commentator for Nexgen Network. He has been coaching and leading in the Ultimate community for over 9 years, coached at Ultimate clinics in 6 different countries (Colombia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Russia, USA), and worked for Ultimate Peace, Next Level Ultimate Camp, and Ultivillage.</p> <p>Mario is the captain of Oregon's elite club team, Rhino. As a player, he is known as one of the best in the nation at his position, and has taken gold in international tournaments, including the Pan-American Ultimate Championships (Medellin, Colombia) and Paganello (Rimini, Italy).</p> <p>Mario also brings to the table a Bachelor's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction (a.k.a. teaching), graduate work in Educational Leadership and Policy, 5 years of middle and high school teaching experience (Math and Spanish), 10 years experience coaching multiple sports, 7 years as counselor and 2 years as Program Director of a YMCA summer camp.</p>
