Benjamin Hawthorne is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of The City College of New York with a Bachelor in Theater. He was the recipient of the Bessie Spector Award for Excellence in Directing. He has directed several full productions including WOYZECK by Georg Buchner, and NAOMI IN THE LIVING ROOM by Christopher Durang. His forming The Dotted Elk Theatre Company with Gregory Paul Thomas was fate, together they work as writer and director producing new original, thought provoking work.
