Avotronics Powertrain - CEO's Story

Ugo Nwoke was born in London, United Kingdom where he also graduated with two Architectural degrees and worked as a Commercial & Residential Architect both in the UK & US after migrating to the US in 2002. But his passion had always been with cars, their designs & technology. As a kid Ugo had an innate passion for vehicle designs and would make model cars as Christmas gifts for his siblings. He sketched the first concept of the technology in 1993 as a variable transmission. Almost 20yrs later, 1000s of hours & $10000s, sleepless nights & having gone through multiple iterations of the technology, countless engineering reviews, persistence against all the odds and challenges in a very complex industry, Ugo is finally at the crux of making his passion a reality, sharing it with the global community & improving our driving experience. Early in 2013 he was granted a patent for his technology, which validated so many years of hardwork, persistence & relentless passion and conviction.
