Alan Stivelman

<p>Alan Stivelman was born on August 14, 1986, in Buenos Aires,<br />Argentina. He is a versatile artist who studied film, drama,<br />photography, clown technique, acting, puppet theater and taiko<br />(Japanese drums). His degree in film is from the CIEVYC film<br />institute and he studied drama with Mauricio Kartun and Ariel<br />Barchil&oacute;n, to whom he owes his passion and didactics when it comes<br />to writing.</p> <p><br />His life philosophy is to make the world better through a<br />poetic revolution.</p> <p><br />In 2009 he founded Pierrot Cine, a dream film production<br />company. In April 2010 he recorded he first short fiction film called<br />&ldquo;Capit&aacute;n Bola Ocho&rdquo; financed entirely by Pierrot Cine. In 2011 he<br />continued to write and direct, resulting in two short films, the first<br />one called &ldquo;Samadhi,&rdquo; and the other &ldquo;Camale&oacute;n,&rdquo; which won an<br />award at an Argentine Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts<br />(INCAA) &ldquo;Futbol y otras pasiones argentinas&rdquo; [soccer and other<br />Argentine passions] contest. Starting in 2010 he researched the<br />Andean world and its archeological mysteries, being pleasantly<br />surprised by one of them, inspiring him to write &ldquo;El llamado del<br />lago sagrado,&rdquo; now in financing process. In 2011 he travelled to<br />the Andes to return with a finished film, &ldquo;Humano&rdquo; being the<br />result of such travels.</p> <p><br />He is currently pre-producing his first feature fiction film, &ldquo;Zara.&rdquo;</p> <p>*</p> <p>Alan Stivelman naci&oacute; el 14 de Agosto de 1986 en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Artista polifac&eacute;tico, estudi&oacute; cine, dramaturgia, fotograf&iacute;a, clown, actuaci&oacute;n, teatro de t&iacute;teres y taiko (tambores japoneses). Estudi&oacute; cine en el CIEVYC y dramaturgia con los&nbsp;maestros Mauricio Kartun y Ariel Barchil&oacute;n a los cuales les debe la pasi&oacute;n y la did&aacute;ctica a la hora de escribir.</p> <p><br />Su filosof&iacute;a de vida es mejorar el mundo a trav&eacute;s de una revoluci&oacute;n po&eacute;tica.</p> <p>En el 2009 funda Pierrot Cine, el sue&ntilde;o de una productora cinematogr&aacute;fica. En Abril de 2010 graba su primer cortometraje de ficci&oacute;n titulado &ldquo;Capit&aacute;n Bola Ocho&rdquo; &iacute;ntegramente financiado por Pierrot Cine. Durante el 2011 continua escribiendo y dirigiendo con el resultado de dos cortometrajes, el primero titulado &ldquo;Samadhi&rdquo; y el otro &ldquo;Camale&oacute;n&rdquo; que result&oacute; ser ganador del concurso del INCAA &ldquo;Futbol y otras pasiones argentinas&rdquo;. Desde el 2010 investiga el mundo andino y sus misterios arqueol&oacute;gicos, uno de ellos lo sorprende gratamente y escribe &ldquo;El llamado del lago sagrado&rdquo; que est&aacute; en proceso de financiamiento. En el 2011 viaja a Los Andes con el prop&oacute;sito de volver con una pel&iacute;cula en sus manos, &ldquo;Humano&rdquo; es el resultado de dicho viaje.</p> <p>Actualmente se encuentra pre-produciendo su primer largometraje de ficci&oacute;n &ldquo;Zara&rdquo;.</p>
