Debra Markowitz is the Director of the Nassau County Film Office. She presides over the Nassau County Film Advisory Board. She was one of the founding members of LIIFE - The Long Island International Film Expo (now in its 17th year). Besides being a writer, and the author of the Karmic Wind Trilogy (Naked in the Rain, Sarah and Caleb and Karmic Wind), she is a casting director, producer and now director.
