Melissa is an independent filmmaker, artist, and dancer who has written, directed and produced short films that have screened internationally. She is a student of dance/movement therapy and volunteers as a community counsellor. "What I love about filmmaking is its collaborative nature, and the power a story has to unite people under a common creative purpose. With every project I delve into, I gain appreciation for the wealth of possibility, passion, and inspiration that is available to us."
