"Level up with EXP."

Hi! My name is Brian and I'm addicted to fun.

I worked in service and retail most of my life; I like being around people; they give me a never-ending supply of energy. I've always enjoyed holding events and building communities because of this, and being a hardcore gamer, I married the two things as often as possible.

In 2006 I moved to Vancouver to take the plunge into Game Design at Vancouver Film School. I graduated with Best Final Project award, Best Original Game Idea award, and most importantly, a job at Radical Entertainment working on [PROTOTYPE]. I worked as a game designer/scripter there for almost 3 years and on 3 projects before leaving the studio with a teary-eyed farewell. My goal was now to open the new community hub for gamers.

We held many events under the EXP name to test out the theory that I knew all along: people who enjoy video games are also social superstars. We love to discuss, learn, create, and enjoy gaming in a welcoming atmosphere.

I'm committed to making EXP all it can be with the help of the local comunity and beyond. We're willing to listen, improve, and change based on feedback so we can be the very best venue we can be.
