As an art and media teacher in high schools and colleges such as New York Universitity, I had often heard teenagers speak of their dreams of possible relationships and their future. At the same time I noticed these very same teens fascination with the new lip-gloss fad. This sparked the idea of creating an applicator with real life lips so when applying the gloss, the teens would be kissing the lips of the soft gloss applicator, or in fantasy, their dreamdate.
