I began my career 30-years ago in San Francisco making experimental films. I've continued making experimental films since then, but I also began working as a documentary producer of works primarily shown on PBS. Over my career, I've written and directed seven experimental films, produced numerous TV series, and four independent documentaries that won two Emmys and other film festival awards . Feelings Are Facts: The Life of Yvonne Rainer is the first documentary feature that I am directing.
