Jacob Fertig is an artist, animator, and filmmaker from West Virginia. He is an award winning animator, winning awards for his animation WAR (2005) and The Circus (2007). He is a contributing animator on Radio Free Charleston and WTFU. His short film The Flocking: Coal-Aid Moviesode, was an Official Selection in festivals in India, Sweden, Italy, and the United States. He is currently working on his first animated feature, Coal Republic.
