Corn-fed and raised in the Midwestern parts of the Great Lake states, Mike has spent most of his life talking out of his nose. His passions include mountains, pine groves, and pretty much anything with antlers. If he wasn't a filmmaker, he would more than likely be a history teacher.<br><br>In his work, he strives to build and create universes that are welcoming and absorbing, and strives to portray even the most unlikable and bleak characters with warmth and honesty. <br><br>Mike is an Eagle Scout and a verified and vouched-for member of the Couchsurfing Project. <br>
