Producer for The Line

Adam J. Pierce (23) is a Filmmaker studying at Tribeca Flashpoint Media Arts Academy Academy in Chicago. He has a passion for all things film, including documentaries, narrative features, music videos, and more. Pierce is in his second year at Tribeca Flashpoint and is on track to graduate in June of this year.

At a young age Pierce participated in numerous projects earning himself a plethora of titles. Some of his film credits include; Producer, Writer, Director, Director of Photography, and Assistant Director. Pierce Directed his first 3-minute short for Tribeca Flashpoint entitled “Glory Box” in August of 2011. His most recent project is a music video for the song "Shot In The Back of The Head" by Moby, of which Pierce was the producer and star of the video.

Before coming to Tribeca Flashpoint, Pierce strived in the arts community. He organized underground music festivals in his rural hometown, sang for a number of local bands, was the go-to guy at the local video store, and threw sandwiches for Jimmy John’s.

Adam has always been a "film buff", sometimes watching 3 or 4 features a day, even as a child. Pierce had a hunger to learn as much as he could. He never had any hi-tech movie making equipment growing up, instead he enjoyed hours in front of the screen analyzing classics such as “The Day The Earth Stood Still”, “2001: A Space Odyssey”, or “Jackie Brown”.

Pierce is the youngest of four children born to Joan Dubuis and Jerome Pierce. He graduated from Hononegah Community High School in Rockton, IL in May of 2007.

Pierce is a fan of many types of films and is excited to explore the medium to it’s full potential.

Pierce Vision Statement:
Three simple words, “Make, Movies, Magic.”
