NAMI Dallas is a grassroots family and consumer self-help, support, education and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illnesses and the lives of their families and other caregivers. Such illnesses are now known as serious and persistent neurobiological brain disorders.We are an affiliate of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). Founded in 1982, we operate as a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible nonprofit organization in the Dallas metropolitan area.
