Motels, often referred to as a motor camp or auto hotel, is usually an in-between hotel that is specifically designed for drivers, usually with each room being directly connected to the parking space for larger cars, and it not accessible via the main hotel lobby. Motorized Tops Express was among the first motels of this type. It is currently controlled by Holiday Inn and Country Inn. Another example of a motel specifically designed to accommodate motorists is the Evergreen Motel in Columbia, Missouri. It also has Comfort Suites Motel at Fort Walton Beach as well as Holiday Inn Express in North Augusta in Georgia.
