<p>On Bowen Island, which lies nestled between the city of Vancouver and Vancouver Island, Sarah Jane Scouten tagged along to folk music jams from an early age. Raised on Hank Williams Sr., Stan Rogers and bluegrass banjo playing in the house, Sarah blends traditional American music styles into a brand of song-writing which is all her own. All-at-once raw and sweet, bold and tear-jerking, she’ll leave you charmed with a belly-full of well-crafted music.</p> <p>She is a twenty-five year old multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who lives in Montreal, Quebec. Look for her first CD this December.</p>
