کلینیک مددکاری اجتماعی آوان با رویکرد کاهش آسیب های اجتماعی و توانمند سازی زنان بی سرپرست و بد سرپرست در تیر ماه سال ۱۳۹۶ با اخذ مجوز از اداره کل بهزیستی استان تهران تاسیس گردید. با توجه به رویکرد کلینیک آوان و افزایش آسیب های اجتماعی در سطح شهر تهران، این کلینیک برآن شد تا در بدو شروع فعالیت خود، فعالیت های گسترده و تخصصی را در خصوص آسیب های اجتماعی و کنترل و کاهش معضلات اجتماعی با رویکرد آگاه سازی مردم در خصوص مهارت های زندگی در دستور کار خود قرار دهد.
