<span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; color: rgb(85, 85, 85); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px; ">In 2003, Sharmila Ray graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a bachelors degree in Visual Arts Media / film and video.<br style="clear: both; "><br style="clear: both; ">Shortly after graduation Shar, became the public relations director for The Voice 1156 Gallery which hosted such artists as Shepard Fairey, Mike Giant, Human 5,etc. Later she was invited by the Rubber Rose Gallery to curate for them.<br style="clear: both; "><br style="clear: both; ">In 2006 Shar, moved to L.A. to pursue a career in visual merchandising with the Nordstom company. <br style="clear: both; "><br style="clear: both; ">Then in 2009, she left the retail industry to begin working on a passion project called “You Follow”: a search for one's past.
