Carlos Prieto Acevedo

Carlos Prieto Acevedo (b. 1973, Mexico City)

Carlos studied philosophy at UNAM and specializes in Aesthetic Theory. He has written for magazines, fanzines, and other publications since 1995. He was also a radio producer and artistic programmer for electronic music festivals and events, most notably MUTEK-MX (2003-08). In 2012, he was invited to produce a series of sound pieces to install at the MUNAL (National Art Museum). Since 2009, he is a full time professor at the Claustro de Sor Juana in the Communications Department.
