LuminAID was created in 2010 by two women who wanted to design a safe rechargeable lantern for victims of natural disasters. Co-founders Anna and Andrea pitched their idea on Shark Tank, received offers from all five sharks, and closed a deal with Mark Cuban. Since then, the collapsible solar lanterns have become popular with campers & backyard enthusiasts. Over 125,000 LuminAID solar lanterns have gone to families without electricity worldwide. Our passion is sustainable energy for all homes.
