Making music in Guatemala

I moved to Guatemala in 2001 to teach music at Colegio Maya. I direct the Guatemala Community Choir which sings the Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah at the National Theater each year. In 2012 I was awarded Outstanding Foreign Artist of the Year. With my friends Vivian Douglas, the music director at Casa Bernabé Orphanage where I volunteer teaching their beginning band, and Richard and Guisela Skaggs we started Music Camp Guatemala in 2012. We're ready for another great year!
