An Englishman born in Austria and raised in Costa Rica, Laurence graduated from St Andrews with a First, was in the British Army, and featured in assorted TV shows (such as BBC3’s ‘World’s Toughest Jobs’ as a cowboy). An equally colourful professional life: the International Chamber of Commerce; the Vatican; co-founder of a luxury real estate brand; teaching Critical Thinking at Dulwich College, launching a crêperie, and finally working with operational VC/startup incubator, Rocket Internet.
