Winnie Rubin

My name is Winnie Rose Rubin. From the time I was in third grade and started taking class trips to farms, I fell in love with food and how it is produced. My work at Hawthorne Valley Farm and Blooming Chefs allowed me to cultivate my skills in facilitation, cross-subject instruction, curriculum and recipe development, and gardening. I am passionate about public action for positive change and have loved my work here in Jackson, MS improving healthy eating!
