<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoNormal><FONT color=#000000 size=3 face="Times New Roman">Designated a “big, bad, bold drag queen” by <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Bust </I>magazine and a “Burlesque Expert” by NY1 and Big Think, Dr. Lucky’s unique comedic timing and over-the-top theatricality and glamorous excess have won her critical acclaim across the globe.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>She is the subject of a documentary by Suzanne Hilfiger, “Faux Queens,” and has been featured on NPR (twice!), NY1, WCTV’s “Chronicle,” <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Washington Post</I>, <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">Washington Blade</I>, <I style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">The Toronto Star, Time, </I>and many many others.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>She has headlined at the Key West Burlesque Festival, Toronto Burlesque Festival, New York Burlesque Festival, and co-hosted Legend’s Night at the Burlesque Hall of Fame.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Since 2005, she has taught The History of American Burlesque at New York University, and has also taught burlesque at CUNY, MICA, BurlyCon, New York School of Burlesque, Burlesque Hall of Fame, and many others.&nbsp; </FONT><FONT color=#000000 size=3 face="Times New Roman">She has curated and produced shows including “20,000 Legs, a Surrealist Burlesque Manifesto,” “American Beauty" at Galapagos Art Space which featured an installation art "voting booth" constructed out of Village Voice "escort" pages in the shape of an American flag, and a durational performance art piece entitled "Coney Island and Spectacle as Total-Body Experience - A 12-Hour Academic Spectacular in Which We Find Our Heroine Chained to a Podium for an Interminable Period, With All the Agony and Sublime Joy That This Might Entail” which needs no further explanation.</FONT></P>
