John Lehrack

Artistic Director

I am the founding director of the Gay Men's Chorus of Honolulu. I have also served as Artistic Director of Na Leo Nahenahe, the South Coast Chorale, Jewish Folk Chorus of San Francisco, Equal Voices and the Honolulu Men's Chorus. Additionally I am an adjunct instructor at Hawaii Tokai International University, Director of Music at Church of the Crossroads and accompanist for the Honolulu Chorale. Personal performance credits include featured roles with Hawaii Opera Theatre, Solano Symphony, Maui Symphony Chorus, San Francisco City Summer Opera, San Francisco Cabaret Opera, Opera Piccola and as a solo artist. I have a Master of Arts degree in music from the University of Hawaii and a Bachelor of Music degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
