With it all beginning in the summer of 2011, at San Jose State University, Soulful Obsession is an American band on-the-rise in the thriving Silicon Valley combining an eclectic mix of jazz-blues, R&B, funk and the fundamental elements of hip-hop. The group is composed of: Lily Tran - lead vocalist & background (currently experimenting with MC'ing) Bennett Roth - on the keys, vocals, & MC Veno Bender - on the bass, & MC Kosuke Okamura - the badass smiling drummer Soulful
