Trying to contribute to starting a film industry in Lebanon

My name is Dania Bdeir and I am a Lebanese second year graduate film student at NYU. I am someone who really feels like the world is over-saturated with existing recycled Hollywood stories. We are at a point where every film has a sequel or even a 3, 4 or 5! The world is so huge and there are so many stories everywhere that it's a shame if we don't take advantage of all these cultures. Lebanon, is one of those countries with an eventful past and an eclectic diversity of characters.
