<p>I am an Asheville, North Carolina area-based new media artist, specializing in motion graphics, print media and architectural renderings. After receiving an Engineering Design Graphics degree in Houston, Texas, I worked for 9 years in <a href="http://jbennettmedia.com/works/?cat=14">GIS mapping</a>, tech support and data analysis. For 3 of those years, I also taught 2D and 3D drafting at San Jacinto College. I got into residential and commercial architecture when I moved to Asheville in 2005, and became involved with sustainable architecture and design in 2009 when I started working with <a title="Think Green Building" href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1579905323?ie=UTF8&amp;tag=wwwthenauhaus-20&amp;link_code=as3&amp;camp=211189&amp;creative=373489&amp;creativeASIN=1579905323" target="_blank">Think Green Building</a>, drawing construction documents for&nbsp;<a href="http://jbennettmedia.com/works/?p=53">sustainable homes</a>. Soon I began working with my friends at <a href="http://www.thenauhaus.com">the Nauhaus Institute</a>, during which time I&nbsp;created <a href="http://thenauhaus.com/currentprojects/nauhausprototype/prototype.php">artist renderings</a>, <a href="http://thenauhaus.com/currentprojects/nauhausprototype/plans.php">construction</a> documents, marketing, <a href="http://thenauhaus.com/blog/index.php/author/snugganut/">blogging</a>, and <a href="http://thenauhaus.com/blog/index.php/tag/chapter-2/">website design</a> for the <a title="Nauhaus Prototype Project" href="http://thenauhaus.com/currentprojects/nauhausprototype/prototype.php" target="_blank">Nauhaus Prototype</a>.</p> <p>I have also been involved with production and marketing for <a href="http://www.drinkbuchi.com">Buchi</a>, makers of The Best Kombucha Ever.</p> <p>A lifetime student, I am currently enrolled in the <a href="http://nm.unca.edu/">New Media</a> program at UNC Asheville, where I am constantly updating my design, production, animation and storytelling skills.</p>
