I was raised on Indian Land in southeastern Oregon, until the age of fifteen, when I left and spent a year in the Australian Outback as an ‘experimental exchange student’. When I returned, I attended college, and received an FCC license, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies & Journalism from CSU Sacramento and a Master’s Degree in Rhetoric & Communication from UC Davis.
