THAI FREEDOM HOUSE and FREE BIRD CAFE

We are a grassroots language and arts learning center in Northern Thailand. We provide year round classes, 7 days a week to refugees from Burma and members of minority groups in Thailand. Our aim is to provide a safe, clean, comfortable environment with a network of resources, workshops and classes to support people who have had no formal access to education and may be suffering from past trauma. We are funded by private donations and our social enterprise; Free Bird Cafe restaurant.
