Rock'n'Roll Unravelled tells the story of rock'n'roll from its roots to mid-1970s punk, its influences and development.
In a nutshell, I'm a baby boomer who lived through the period and along the way became: an avid record collector, vinyl of course; drummer, initially in the 1960s but recently returned to the drum seat, see me at the book launch at Liverpool's Cavern Club on 1 June; roadie, I worked with Pat Travers and Meat Ticket; record dealer, collectable 1950s, '60s and '70s vinyl; but first and foremost, an enthusiastic music fan. This 700 page book is the result of seven years research and writing.
