Jackie Johnson

Kitale , Kenya

This is me.

Before coming to Kenya I was employed as a graphic designer at Michigan Technological University. And three years before that, I had recently graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Fine Art & Design (Go Green). I was drawn to this project due to my love of bikes while having the opportunity to use my craft towards something meaningful, tangible with the potential of a large scale positive impact for people who depend on bicycles.

Working with Baisikeli Ugunduzi has been wonderful. Living in Kitale, Kenya has shown me firsthand of the huge need for better, sustainable bicycle solutions and I truly believe that Baisikeli Ugunduzi has the answer!

When I'm not working I like to ride my mountain bike, ski, drink coffee, travel and read.

I thank you for visiting our campaign and taking the time to get to know "us", Baisikeli Ugunduzi. Stay current by following us on facebook, twitter and check out our re-vamped website!

Asante sana! (Thank you very much)
