<p>Raised on a farm, I have spent the following 20 years moving to progressively larger and larger cities. I take a very dim view towards homophobia, sexism, and animal cruelty and can often be found on message boards defending the &nbsp;"hippies" who have the audacity to think our food should be local and organic.</p> <p>I have a soft spot for the nerds and downtrodden amongst us, since I have taken my turns being either and often both.</p>
