  • How to Contribute

    You may contribute to any live campaign by clicking on the “Contribute Now” button. You’ll be able to enter how much you want to contribute, claim your perk, and choose how you want to pay. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit or debit cards, or you can choose to pay via PayPal. All transactions take place in $USD, €EUR, $AUD, £GBP or $CAD depending on the campaign.     How to Evaluate a Campaign

    We have a comprehensive fraud check system in place to protect our contributors from potentially fraudulent campaigns. You can also help us flag any campaign containing prohibited content by clicking on the 'prohibited content' link on the right hand side of every campaign page.   • How Taxes Work

    Not all campaigns can offer tax deductions. Contributions are only tax-deductible if the campaign is fiscally sponsored by a 501c(3) nonprofit organization. We recommend that you contact the campaign owner directly to find out if the campaign is eligible for providing tax receipts. Any tax receipts would come directly from the nonprofit organization, not Indiegogo. Learn more about tax deductions

    How Refunds Work

    Contributions are nonrefundable. We may refund your contribution if your contribution was accidentally made twice or if the campaign has not raised enough money by its deadline to cover the cost of disbursement. We also refund any contributions made to a Fixed Funding campaign that has not met its goal by its deadline. Learn More

  • Manage Your Account

    An account is automatically created for you when you make a contribution. To log into your account for the first time, click here and enter the email address that you used to contribute. We will send you a link to reset your password: Set My Password

    How to Contribute Anonymously

    You can choose whether or not you want your name and contribution amount to be displayed on the campaign page under the 'Contributors' tab. Choose 'Visible' if you want both your name and amount displayed, 'Identity-Only' if you want only your name displayed without your amount, and 'Anonymous' if you want only your amount displayed.     How to Contribute for a Friend

    You can make a contribution on behalf of a friend or a family member. Not only will you be giving funds to a campaign that they may feel passionate about, but you can also sign them up to receive a perk. His or her name will be displayed on the campaign page under the 'Contributors' tab for everyone to see. Learn More

  • How to Edit Your Name

    You can adjust the name that shows up on the campaign page for your contribution. Just log in to your Indiegogo account and edit your name in your account settings. Learn More

    Was My Contribution Successful?

    We will send you a confirmation email if your contribution is successful. You can also keep track of any successful contributions made by checking your account's Dashboard for a complete list. Click here to find out what you can do if your contribution was unsuccessful: Common Errors

    I Can't Find My Country

    Because Indiegogo is a U.S. company, we are not able to send funds to any country on the U.S. Federal Sanctions List. If you can't find your country in the drop-down menu when trying to contribute to a campaign, your country may be one that we are currently unable to support.


  • What are Perks?

    Many campaigns offer perks in exchange for different contribution levels. You will need to contribute at least the minimum amount to receive the associated perk. Perks are offers made and managed solely by campaign owners. If you want to upgrade your perk, change your mailing address, or to inquire about the details of your perk, please contact the campaign owner directly. Learn More

  • Where is My Perk?

    Receiving your perk(s) often takes time! Selecting a perk as a part of your contribution is not the same thing as buying something online. Perks may require much more than just money to develop, manufacture and distribute. Since campaign owners manage perks, we recommend contacting the campaign owner directly to find out the status of your perk. Learn More
