Our Story
We are PIE, a rock alternative latin blues band. Our song "Yo Se" is in a Ford Fiesta commercial and has been bringing us new fans every day.
We shot our first music video "For A Reason" last year with director Bill Voorhees and it was such an amazing experience that we want to do it again! This time for "Yo Se", the first single off our Spanish-language EP "Sol Echo". Now we just need to raise the funds! We need your help!
We have just finished our Spanish language EP "Sol Echo". We made this in response to our fans request for more Spanish songs! We are also planning a tour in both the U.S. and Mexico for Summer 2012. More than anything, this music video will serve as a professional marketing tool for us to further promote Pie and take our band to the next level. Watch our First Dance Rehearsal.
Whatever you are able to contribute will be greatly appreciated! Even $1, $5 or $10 will help us tremendously. Keep in mind that anything $10 and over includes INCENTIVES! Read up on them to the right of this column. Many of them are first come first serve so hurry up and choose one! We still have a massage left and a full month of Superslow workouts with lead singer Ellie Araiza at 25% off! Not to mention cool Pie stuff and cupcakes!
The Impact
We aim to create a high quality video that every person involved can in some way benefit from. Many of us are professionals in the entertainment industry, growing and evolving each in our own unique way and with our own unique talents. We want nothing more than to come together and allow that very authenticity and experience that each person brings to be expressed. To do so, we foster a working environment where no one is unimportant and everyone is valued and respected.
We realize all of the people who worked on our previous video worked tirelessly to help us create an amazing project and did so for no pay. For the Yo Se music video it's very important for us to be able to compensate people for their time and their amazing energy. Part of the funds you help us raise will go to paying our cast and crew.
ALSO... We've decided to go GREEN! You know what they say... It's not what you do, but HOW you do it. It's important to us that our production doesn't negatively impact the environment. The song "Yo Se" is full of metaphors about nature. In staying true to the theme, we will do anything we can to keep nature on it's course. We will be reusing and recycling as well as avoiding any unnecessary waste.
We have scheduled our shoot days for November 4th, 5th and 6th. And yes, we do happen to wrap the shoot the day before Bill's birthday! And really, what better present to give Bill than to give him his first paid screen directing gig ;)
