Our Story

The number of people practicing yoga is growing everyday. Many people begin their practice due to health concerns and have found it extremely rewarding and beneficial. The benefits of a yoga practice are tangible and we believe yoga should be accessible to everyone.

Yogaspotting is a global networking platform for yoga students, teachers, studios and organizations. We are building a photo-centric web application where yogis can share yoga-related images, create opportunities for international exchange, find talent for their studios, projects and retreats, and explore yoga-related activities across the world.

Britt is the driving force behind yogaspotting. She has practiced yoga for over ten years and is interested in the intersection of yoga and the arts, as well as how yoga can be applied to creative forms of social activism. 

The Impact

It is our hope that yogaspotting will help yoga expand into areas where it is vitally needed: schools, hospitals, shelters, prisons, NGO's, banks, corporations, retail outlets, government agencies, diplomatic offices and crisis zones. 

What We Need & What You Get

The first version of yogaspotting is about half-way built, but we need some funds to help us reach the finish line! 

Everyone who contributes $10 or more will receive a yogaspotting sticker. The larger rewards include: a limited edition yogaspotting t-shirt  and a private yoga lesson with the founder. 

We will also feature the top five contributors' yoga-related photographs and/or projects on the site itself.
