WHAT IS HUMAN?
human is a science fiction/zombie/apocalypse short film, which revolves around three friends forced to flee for their lives when alien invaders take over their city and put the population in a zombie-like state. On their journey out of the city, they face the ultimate dilemma: how do you retain your humanity in a inhumane situation?
human was shot in the cities of Lund and Malm in Southern Sweden in November 2011. The project is currently in post-production, and will be completed around Spring 2012. It will then be distributed through film festivals around the world!

THE MESSAGE
If we cannot keep to ethics and moral in situations where our lives are at risk; then have we not already lost what we are trying to defend?
Around the world, people are tried daily in situations where their humanity is put to the test. This can be anything from the way we treat people in our everyday lives, to situations of war where we must fight for our survival. Regardless of the seriousness of the situation, this means that we in someway or another have to put our own wellbeing in relation to others.
Questions of morals and ethics can often be difficult to relate to, especially for ordinary Westerners, who rarely face situations where lives really are at stake. The question of how we would react in such a situation is an important issue for everyone, as it tells a lot about what kind of fellow human beings we really are.
human is all about these moral choices, packaged as a fast-paced, exciting short film, that hopefully will make the audience reflect over their choices in life!
WHO ARE WE?
We are a group of filmmakers based in the South of Sweden. We have been involved in several types of productions, from feature films and shorts, to music videos, commercials and documentaries. We have a big passion for genre film, such as science fiction, horror, and fantasy!

WHAT WE NEED & WHAT YOU GET
We have already managed to raise some funds for the project, but we need your help to complete our budget! The money raised on IndieGoGo will be used to increase the production value, and get an overall better look of the film. More specifically, the money will be used for purchasing costumes, make up, and technology used in the production of the film. The money will also be used for distribution costs, such as making DVDs and submitting the film to various festivals, thus bringing it closer to you - the audience!
Everyone in the project is working for free, because we all love the story and we all love making films! Help us turn our passion into reality!
