INTRODUCTION
The WORLD'S GREATEST WRESTLING franchise will utilize crowdfunding to create a TOP NOTCH INDEPENDENT WRESTLING PROMOTION as a refreshing alternative to other mainstream promotions.
While crowdfunding a wrestling promotion may seem highly unconventional, convincing Corporate Sponsors and Private Investors to take a risk on Professional Wrestling in today's economy is virtually impossible.
Although, the ultimate goal is to produce quality programming that will land us a television deal, at this time, we are making plans to provide a free weekly streaming internet program.
We are seeking $10,000 over the next 30 days to build a coalition of fans that will contribute towards making it happen!
We intend to raise a total of $50,000 by the end of Summer 2012 to cover the expense of booking a major venue, booking talent from all over the United States (and possibly beyond), purchasing lots of advertising, and other miscellaneous expenses.

The biggest difference between WORLD'S GREATEST WRESTLING and our most prominent competitor is our emphasis on realistic action.
The "WGW-Style" is a focus on "could this happen in real life?"This means there will be an emphasis on in-ring psychology, and not an emphasis on how many spots take place in one match.
There has been a recent trend in the wrestling industry towards creating longer matches with lots of moves that were previously considered devastating finishers, now becoming as common as a bodyslam.
Since, the human body can only take so much abuse, rather than pretend our wrestlers are superhuman; we will humanize them as superior athletes rather than superheroes.
THE PLAN
WORLD'S GREATEST WRESTLING will be taped in front of a LIVE AUDIENCE as the show goes on the road. PYRO, LIGHTS, and BOOMING SOUND will provide the backdrop befitting of a true sports atmosphere.
The goal is to bring back the fun factor of the 1990s when wrestling was on the air nearly every night of the week.There was truly something for everyone.
We hope to pattern ourselves after the former television schedule of World Championship Wrestling, when it was part of the Turner family of networks.
Our debut event tentatively entitled "THE RISE TO GREATNESS" will be shot in a "Pay-Per-View" style, and will then be followed up by our weekly uploaded web shows.
The current plan is to upload a new episode every Monday.
We are hopeful that when potential Network Executives witness the production quality, the caliber of talent, and the amount of supporters online that we will be given a serious look.
We plan to tour multiple cities; however we are planning our first event in the St. Louis, MO area as that is our hometown base of operations. We are looking at creating an initial minimum 10 city tour.
If we cannot reach a television agreement, then our proposed weekly event will continue to be streamed on the internet, for as long possible.
The very best unsigned talent will be brought into the WORLD'S GREATEST WRESTLING promotion.
This talent will be recruited from smaller Independent wrestling leagues, and potentially created from scratch at the proposed WORLD'S GREATEST WRESTLING Training Facility. This Training Facility would allow the opportunity to train athletes in the "WGW-Style" from the start.
Some talent will be offered exclusive contracts, some will be offered tryouts, and some will be brought in on a non-exclusive basis to keep the roster fresh without tying up the budget.
We have several Independent wrestlers in mind that we have either spoken to or worked with previously, that would be great additions to the roster.
