Somewhere there is a civilization evolving much the same as ours but entirely different. Its a harsh world with a mixture of advanced medical & computer systems with a 17th century transportation. There are hidden powers at levels of government, the military having the majority of the power.
Our story is about not being black and white in war but humanity and courage on both sides. A fight where you see the enemy in the eye as they die. One man finds the truth about the past that has maybe caused the war and effects the future.
Our vision is to create awareness in the audience about the inhumanities of war and the horror that big groups can experience at the hands of criminally corrupt governments.
Some of the audience may acknowledge many of the facts, others may be victims or have relatives that are victims of criminal acts. Some may see this as a product of a very creative and imaginative minds.
Our full budget is at $8,000,000 to create an independent boxbuster and still making filmmaking history.
Once funding is in place (June 15 2010) production will start within three weeks since pre-production has already been in process. We will need 6-8 weeks for set to be build, costumes to be made, and rehearsals to be done. Once filming on either 35mm or digital begins ( in both New Mexico and Louisiana) we will need 3 months filming, editing to start while filming is finishing. This will continue for another two months to complete editing The release to happen around March 2011.
This is a Transmedia Project as we will have a feature film shown in theaters plus will be available on all media. Other venues are soundtrack, gaming and webisodes to make this a world that one can escape to or become part of in many ways.
The political and social events the audience will see in the movie, are in many cases facts taken from real situations. Even though we are presenting War of Choice as scifi, we will be able to maintain a high level of interest from the audience that is avid of more realistic and controversial stories.
