New Orleans is known for its culture- the jazz, the food, the Vampires? New Orleans has a long history with Vampires even before Anne Rice and True Blood. Stories of dead bodies gone missing and blood drinkers go back to the time of French colonization.

But what many dont know is that vampires really do live in New Orleans. Real people who need the energy of others to go on with their everyday lives.

This culture of vampires has thrived for decades within the city- with historical ties that go back centuries. They have their own organizations, rules and even community outreach programs.

This documentary series explores the lives of vampires in New Orleans- from how they feed to their effort to rebuild after Katrina. It will also delve into the myths and history of Vampires in New Orleans and around the world.

We have much of the series filmed and edited but wed love to get a couple more interviews and return to New Orleans for the communitys Halloween celebration for which Vampires from around the country join the New Orleans community.
