Uttam is a writer & director for films and television dramas with more than 30 years experience in TV dramas and documentaries. He is the Scriptwriter and Director of the Malay feature film PULAU ASMARA and nominated for Best Original Story in Film Festival Malaysia 2010. Trained in Film Direction at the Film & Television Institute of India (FTII Pune). Further training in Screenwriting at Mediterranean Film Institutes ADVANCED EUROPEAN SCREENWRITING WORKSHOP 2008 in Greece. Uttam has a passion for telling stories of strong human drama with a purpose.
